1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Pickle Jam, Inc. ("Pickle Jam", "we", "us"). They govern your access to and use of https://picklejam.com, our mobile and web applications, and the features, tools, and content we make available (together, the "Services").

By creating an account, checking in at a court, organizing or joining an event, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Who may use the Services

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Services, and old enough to form a binding contract to make purchases or organize paid events. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@picklejam.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Free tools and paid services

Many features are free to use, including the court directory, court check-ins, player discovery, and the round-robin generator. Some features are paid — for example, registering for or organizing tournaments, leagues, and ladders. When a feature is paid, the price, any applicable platform fee, and the payment terms are shown before you complete a purchase.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. By making or accepting a payment through the Services you also agree to that provider's terms. Additional details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Community conduct and content

You retain ownership of the content you post — reviews, photos, event details, messages, and profile information. You grant Pickle Jam a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Services.

You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. You are solely responsible for your content and conduct, and you must not post anything unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or infringing. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

6. Events, courts, and other players

Pickle Jam is a platform that helps people find courts, games, and events and organize their own. We do not own or operate the courts and venues listed, and we are not a party to the games, outings, tournaments, leagues, or ladders that users organize. Court information is provided on a best-effort basis and may be incomplete or out of date — confirm details with the venue before you go.

Pickleball is a physical activity with inherent risks. You participate in play and events at your own risk and are responsible for your own health, safety, and equipment.

7. Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data except as expressly permitted, or bypass any access or rate controls.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
• Upload malware, or post spam, fraudulent listings, or fake reviews.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including the Pickle Jam name, logo, design, and software, are owned by Pickle Jam, Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights we grant you to use the Services, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pickle Jam, Inc. and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pickle Jam, Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The specific venue, arbitration, and dispute-resolution terms will be finalized with counsel before launch.
